Ke Ola Pu’uhonua invites you to a day of cultural immersion on Saturday, May 6, 2023, from 10:00am-3pm.
The event will showcase the Living Treasures of Cultural Practitioners, who will share their knowledge, expertise, and Mo’olelo with visitors. The aim of the event is to promote and preserve the cultural traditions of Hawaii and to provide an opportunity for everyone to learn and engage with the community.
The day will be filled with exciting activities, including an Imu demonstration, Poi pounding, Hawaiian games, and much more. Visitors will have a chance to participate in these activities and learn about the cultural significance of each one.
In addition, the event will feature a Noon Hula performance, which promises to be a highlight of the day. The Hula is an integral part of Hawaiian culture, and the performance will showcase the beauty and grace of this art form.
Ke Ola Pu’uhonua invites everyone to make it a family day with their ‘Ohana. The event is open to all, and everyone is encouraged to come and experience the richness of Hawaiian culture.
